My story

The idea of coming to live in Japan has been in the back of my mind for many years.
But my first trip here (three years ago) turned my musings into a serious project.
I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture. History, arts, nature, literature, lifestyle, people are only a few of the many things I love about this country so different from mine.

I love working as a teacher because it allows me to meet people of different ages and backgrounds. English is a very fun language to teach – I hope I can make it fun for you to learn. I am having such a great time with all of you.

If I’m honest, there’s a small downside to living in Japan for me, and that is … food! I am a vegetarian and it’s an everyday challenge to find meat-free foods here. I basically survive on rice and instant corn soup.

Despite this little drawback, I love my Japanese life. Each day holds a surprise or a new thing to learn, and this is very exciting!
