My Story（英語）
Hello Everyone! I am Mike and I was born in Manchester in the U.K, but for 13 years I lived all over Yorkshire. I moved to Japan in August 2020 to join my wife who I met in 2018 whist on holiday here in Japan. Before coming to Japan, I worked as a Hospitality Manager and worked in many different styles of bars from cocktail bars and steak restaurants to dive and rock bars and loved them all. So, if you have an interest in good food and drink, I am sure we will have lots to talk about. My wife is from Brazil and has been studied at Osaka University for 4 years and is now a professor there, and I am super proud of her as she is an awesome lady! (She sometimes works at OEC so maybe you will meet her) My hobbies are keeping fit at the gym and getting fat playing P.C games, cooking, reading and eating snacks. (Yes, eating snacks is a hobby!)
Since coming here, I have worked in a bar, an Okonomiyaki ya and now O.E.C. I have found that I love hiking up the many mountains in around Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. And that Japanese kombinis have a never-ending selection of ice cream! But my favourite thing about Osaka is the wide range of restaurants to eat at
We think we will be in living in Japan for another 2 years and during that time I plan to see as much of the Nara wilderness as possible and eat every flavour of ice cream. I can't wait to meet everyone, and I if we have a lesson, you can all give me your pro tips on where to go and what to see during my time here. And if you have any questions about the UK, I would love to answer them.

みなさんこんにちは！マイクです。イギリスのマンチェスターで生まれましたが、13年間ヨークシャー地方に住んでいました。2020年8月に日本に引っ越しして、2018年に日本で休暇中に出会った奥さんと再会しました。日本に来る前は、ホスピタリティマネージャーとしてカクテルバーやステーキレストランからダイブバーやロックバーまで、さまざまなスタイルのバーで働いたことがあって、どれも大好きでした。それでおいしい食べ物や飲み物に興味があるなら、きっとたくさんお話できると思います。
奥さんはブラジル出身で、大阪大学で4年間学び、現在は教授をしています。奥さんは素晴らしい人なのでとても誇りに思っています！（OECで時々働いているから、会えるかもしれません(^_-)）
私の趣味は、ジムで健康を維持し、PCゲームで太ること、料理を作ること、読書、おやつを食べることです。（そう、おやつを食べることでも趣味ですよ笑）
大阪に来て、バーとかお好み焼き屋で働いたことがあります。今はO.E.Cで働いています。大阪、京都、奈良周辺の多くの山をハイキングするのが大好きということが分かりました。そして日本のコンビニにはアイスクリームが尽きることのない品揃えがあることも素晴らしいですね！でも大阪で一番好きなことは食事をするレストランの多さです。
奥さんと私はあと2年間日本に住むつもりで、その間に奈良の自然をできるだけ見て回り、アイスクリームをあらゆる味で食べるつもりです。皆さんにお会いできるのは楽しみにしています！レッスンがあれば、滞在中にどこへ行って何を見るべきかについて皆さんのプロのヒントを教えていただけますか？もちろんイギリスについて何か質問があれば、喜んでお答えします。
